Ramatek Inc. was formed in 1995 to provide professional consulting and contractual services to the transport industry. As an advanced technology company in the field of machinery fluids analysis Ramatek has major expertise in the railroad, automotive and marine industries and is dedicated to performance and customer satisfaction.

Our laboratories are fully equipped with atomic emission (AE) and fourier transform infra red (FTIR) spectrometers, oil and water bath viscometers, moisture and potentiometric karl-fischer titrators, and pentane insolubles, particle counting, nitrites and glycol testing equipment. A fully integrated computer system provides, online, all data reports necessary to monitor the health condition of our clients machinery. We also provide consulting services from our experienced personnel to assist our clients in making prudent decisions related to their machinery problems. A hotline is provided to warn clients of impending catastrophic failure of equipment. Clients can choose from a range of standard tests or programs can be tailored to individual needs.

Ramatek Inc. currently operates two laboratories in Canada, one in Calgary and the other in Toronto. We are also affiliated with Titan Laboratories in the USA.

Our facilities operate in accordance with International Standards for Quality Management and use state of the art testing equipment that complies to ISO, ASTM and LMOA requirements.

A secure website database is provided for our clients use. Electronic access is obtained through a personal ID and password. Analysis reports are guaranteed available within twenty four (24) hours of receipt of samples. Batch and history reports are also available at any time. Clients are notified immediately by email when new data is available. Data can be downloaded in Excel format and hard copies of data can be printed by the client or provided to the client as required.
